PRIVATE COLLECTION HOME TOUR
AT THE HOME OF CHEECH AND NATASHA MARIN
Hosted by the Contemporary Craft Council on Sunday, January 27, 2013 from 2-5pm
Los Angeles –On Sunday, January 27, 2013 from 2 to 5 p.m., the Contemporary Craft Council ( CCC) of the Craft and Folk
Art Museum ( CAFAM), in collaboration with the Marin Salon series, will host a special event to view the incredible private
art collection of Cheech and Natasha Marin.
The Contemporary Craft Council is the first council of its kind in southern California exclusively focused on supporting
craft in contemporary art at CAFAM. The council provides CAFAM members with the opportunity to meaningfully interact
with art, artists, curators and collectors at dynamic events focusing on contemporary craft in the Los Angeles art
community.
Sunday’s event will feature a private tour of Cheech and Natasha Marin’s new home which showcases an incredible
collection of Chicano art. Mezzo-soprano Victoria Shereshevskaya will perform for the group, accompanied by pianist
Natasha Marin. Featured artists Frank and Sharon Romero will also display their latest work.
