Songs of the Desert steps beyond Natasha Marin’s classical roots into a vivid electronic soundscape. Inspired by and recorded in Joshua Tree in California’s Mojave Desert, the album unfolds as a layered, cinematic experience of personal musical reflections dedicated to this landscape. A preview of the album with artwork by Marta Sanchez was presented at the Philadelphia Fringe Festival before its commercial release in October 2024. The album has been submitted for Grammy® consideration in Best New Age, Ambient, or Chant Album Category. Available everywhere you stream music.
